REFLECTION
I took this course in the Spring of 2021. This course covered many topics related to managing EdTech as a coordintor/ coach. I used projects and assignments in this class to talk about what I would do as a EdTech consultant for newsrooms or digital agencies.
The artifact I chose was when I posed as a consultant for digital spaces. I broke the webpage down into 4 quick easy-to-read segments. I talked about the process of evaluating different technologies that produce an outcome in the news space. I will assist in setting the technological direction. I think this is very on brand on what I could do in this space. The hardest part of this class was really beginning to function as a consultant. I reached out to friends and such to really learn about the best computers to buy and stuff like that.
I’m also including a second artifact where I created a presentation about the tools journalist need to succeed in the space. I was able to break down what was needed during the pandemic.
Overall, this class gave me the confident to graduate and not hesitate to call myself a consultant.
